How good are the cafes in Rishikesh?

Cafes and Restaurants are very good in Rishikesh. The vibrant colors with aromatic delish treats serve in the best interests of tourists. If you are planning a trip to Rishikesh, then hitting a few of the mentioned restaurants will serve you the best vibe.

I, on my previous travels, have found Rishikesh to be a wholly Vegetarian area with no alcohol and booze. Adding on to this, their creative and super stretched menus have taste, style, and superiority on an expressive level. If you are into non-veggies, you must try your tongues here at Rishikesh and have your perceptions altered. The mouth-watering appetizers or the traditional desi full course meal will tempt your tummy in a ravishing way. Imagine being on top of hilly peaks, with fog enveloping you, in a cottage-style cafe with freshly brewed Cappuccino and a muffin by the side. Well, this daydream can turn into reality just by taking a train or flight to Rishikesh where colorful cafes stand straight, stretching their menus wide for you.

    Little Buddha

    1. Little Buddha

Flaunting its structures by the side of rippling Ganges marks Little Buddha as one of the most famous cafes in Rishikesh. The top in with the amazing blend of super yummy tastes and super Yo budgets. Cheap in price, they serve the best, rich, tasty, and quality food.

I tried my luck with THE YOGI BREAKFAST and loved it. Just at the meager amount of Rupees 240, I had muesli, fruits, toast, peanut butter, and yummy green juice. This sure was the most budget place I had been.

Apart from this, the place boasts its gorgeous location at the banks of the Ganges. The cold, moist, and flushing waves add another way of spirituality. The only drawback is, that the outer seating area of Little Buddha is almost always full. Lucky are those who know how to hunt for them because the indoors lose their essence and eating out, in between the aura is yet another kind of joy.

    2. Ganga Beach Cafe

A gorgeous blend of comfy cuisines with cosmic scenes and spirituality. The ever-packed (Housefull) place defines itself as the best being the most loved by the tourists. The spectacular views of Laxman Jhoola and the Ganges. While having the scenic beauty at your disposal, you can still opt for the big chair in the front of the cafe with cuddly and cute colorful cushions. God! Too many C’s in here yet worthy of it.

My recommendations: Don’t miss out on eating ‘THALI’ at this place or you will be missing a hell of a lot! The taste is still on my tongue. It was so delicious that… Well, I will leave it to your judgment. The best time to visit this beautiful nest is during sunset when you can enjoy the brimming sunlight and orange hues which are worth watching.

    Freedom Cafe

    3. Freedom Cafe

Close to the Little Buddha cafe, this place was relatively quiet yet comfortable. My visit there was during the festive season of Holi so therefore, the tranquility might have something to do with that. Coming along, this place is small and quiet, free from the hustle and bustle, just at the right location to enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets with super piquant delights. The taste was to die for with utter simplicity to tempt your hungry tummy in a super budget-friendly manner.

The location boasts a brilliant view of the Ganges and misty breezes add to the tranquility of this place. We had a typical Indian breakfast and they were too good to lick fingers. On other recommendations, it is wise to say that their Italian cuisines are a must-try.

    4. Shambala

Another piece of decoration where guests are welcomed. The picture-perfect place is all rounded and wrapped up with vibrant and plush colorful wall hangings, bagging in soft and comfy shade soaking cushions and comfortable dine-in options. Situated on the other side of Laxman Jhula, this place is the best hideout near the panoramic view of the Ganges and has major tourist sites nearby like The Beatles Ashram, Shanti Shanti, and Tat. On visiting these famous sites, one can use this nested hideout for a bit of change and a little hip-hopping for the heart.

They serve major delicacies, from Indian, and Chinese cuisines to Italian and Israeli and yet a lot more.

Shambala flaunts its cheap and affordable rates attracting the maximum of food buzzers and bees to suck in the nectar of this soulful place. We had veggie burgers that started from Rupees 100 and the juicy and creamy taste was too good to just eat all at once. Their soups are standouts too and must be on your bucket list if you are visiting Rishikesh.

This place is meant for solace where you can whistle and rest for a while and corner yourself from the rush of the public and tourist culture.

    Pumpernickel German Bakery

    5. Pumpernickel German Bakery

Got a sweet tooth for chocolate chips or Vanilla fondles? Well, Rishikesh just has the right spot for you. The mass of Rishikesh in unison confirms Pumpernickel German Bakery to be the best at their coffee delights and I am in no way to contradict them for the freshly brewed coffee with shelved roasted beans and the aroma of caffeine-ey chocolaty aura just kindles the cocoa lover in you. To add on, this pretty place tops the zone with cute animal latte arts.

The all in all composition of this place serves all sorts of delicacies and dishes but as the name suggests, the cakes and pastries of this place stand out in innumerous ways and are exceptionally tasty. My recommendation- don’t miss trying chocolate-loaded rich chocolate balls.

    Rajasthani Restaurant

    6. Rajasthani Restaurant

Hopping in and out of cafes and restaurants and trying our luck with almost every cuisine, we somehow stumbled at the foot of Rajasthani Restaurant. Looking at the hustle-bustle inside the casa, we framed an opinion of it to be a good one. The next thing that I remember was stuffing myself with Butter Paneer Masala, Mushroom Masala, Dal Bati, Rice, Naans, Thali, and a selection of Indian desserts. The best part was we just paid Rupees 180 per dish. Now thinking how cheap it was, my eyes are stretched wide.

This local taste hub is situated at a little distance from the tourist area but pays no attention to that for this should be on your MUST TO VISIT list. To structure your plan, the best way is to head for the fire show at Triveni Ghat and after you are done, mark your footsteps at the Rajasthani Restaurant as it stands close to the ghat.

The sweet counter is an exceptionally pretty one. These very nice people make them in the shapes of apples, roses, and strawberries. Just to add in the cuteness with the sugary treats. Rajasthani Restaurant therefore should be on your hit list as they serve the tastiest cuisines at relatively low prices and in wholesome quantities as well. Don’t forget to share your experiences with us.
